Was there a Loveless anime of the fortnight? Perhaps, but the anime are never as good as the manga. Now then as number thirteen the obvious choice would have been the manga Lucky Number 13 but I decided to go a different route and try a manga that I have never read before. The only manga I could find?

- Mal Synopsis:
Aoyagi Ritsuka is one troubled 6th grader. Two years ago, he mysteriously lost his memory and developed an alternate personality. His mother constantly berates (and occasionally beats) him, asking what happened to the "real" Ritsuka, and his only defender and friend, his older brother Seimei, was recently killed.

Suddenly, Seimei's apparent "friend," Soubi, appears. Soubi tells him that Ritsuka's true name is "Loveless," and that Soubi was assigned by Seimei to take care of Ritsuka and protect him. Ritsuka soon gets sucked into a bizzare underground society where teams of people, a "Fighter Unit," and a "Sacrifice," battle using elaborate and beautifully-phrased spells.

He seeks both acceptance of himself, and the answer to the mystery of who killed his brother and why. (Source: Tokyopop)

I've heard of it but I can't rate it since I haven't read it, and I'm not entirely sure if I should....

Hmm.. It's hard to judge, considering the series is still ongoing. A good end is often very important to judge series as it can ruin everything or make it that much more awesome. I would still rate it 8 or 9 out of 10 though as I quite enjoyed it.There was occasionally tad bit too much of angst for me though. But the art is really pretty!
Need to make new sig. Soon. Maybe.

Like above it is still ongoing to its hard to say if its the greatest series I've ever read. But it is about to be continued by Viz media i think so as of volume 8 I have it as my top 5 so its a high 9. :D I do remember picking up volume 1 and thinking Ritsuka was a girl the whole time till I actually bought the manga haha They mystery with his brother and the relationship with Seimei is what keeps me reading it and waiting patiently, if not then I would have dropped it around volume 3.
