Let's show off our (more or less) epic Gunpla collections.

http://myfigurecollection.net/picture/246740&ref=user%3ABaman

1/100 from left to right; Dom, F2 Zaku 2, Char's Zaku 2, Gelgoog Gato custom, (Scopedog) Gouf custom, Z'gok, ACGUY.
1/144: Super Custom Zaku F2000, Geara Zulu, Sazabi, (HCM Pro Geara Doga) Ball and Rx-78.

As you can see, only the Gelgoog is painted, and very simply so, but I'm planning to eventually paint some of the others too. Maybe try out some battle damage and weathering, at least for the ground pounder units like the Gouf.

And apart from the ones in the picture, I also have a unassembled Full Armour Gundam, as well as a Full Armour ZZ and a GM C space type coming in the mail sometime soon.
Then there's three more 1/144 Balls, old 1/144 kits of Zock and Z'gok E and a 1/100 Tieren ground type, all bought for kitbashing purposes, and will probably end up as Ork Killa Kans, Deff Dreads and an Imperial knight Titan for Warhammer.

Oh man, Sinanju. Really want one of those. And what's that all red one in the top pic?

Also, that Physalis is the 1/100 right? I've been kind of wanting one of them too, but since it's a older kit and it seems pretty bulky I've been holding out on it. So is it heavy and unwieldy, or can you pose it decently?

It's the 1/100. I wasn't able to attach the shield without it falling though, so it's pretty heavy and unwieldy indeed.

About the all red one, you're probably referring to the AGX-04 Gerbera Tetra.

I've still got two unbuilt Gunpla's laying around. I will eventually post those too.

This might sound like a pointless question but any suggestions for starters on making gunplas? Like I read about sanding, priming, and painting the parts, so my question is that will it be okay to just start with 1/100.

Sanding and painting isn't required at all really, just look at mine, only one of them really have basic paint, and they still look alright. Don't look nearly as awesome as those really well painted and weathered ones, but they don't have to.

I'd probably recommend 1/100 anyways though, since if you do want to paint them thoroughly, it will be a lot easier to get to details and stuff on a bigger kit. Plus bigger is better, even if they take more space and cost more.
On the flipside, if you plan to experiment a bit with various techniques and don't know how well it will turn out, you might be better off with a couple of cheap smaller scale kits instead just for the sake of practice.
But if you just want a cool kit to build first off, I'd say go with 1/100. They're not hard to build at all, only take more time. And if you do build one and want to paint it later, it's never too late, as you could always just take off the outer plating and paint them separately.

hope you guys don't mind If I restart this thread XD

I've been buying gunpla since around 1997 but I only recently started to take the hobby seriously.

I'm still pretty much a newb when it comes to building gunpla, I've only done panel lining and used Gundam Markers on my kit but I've recently bought an airbrush kit so I might start painting on my next gunpla project.

here is a photo of some of the gunplas I have right now.

I've also got several HGs and old 1/100 and 1/144 No Grades that aren't included in that pic.

Hi, I'm new to the group. Glad to see there's a gunplay thread. Just bought a 1/144 RX-78-2 Entry Grade to start with. No nippers or files needed, so they say.
