| The second part of that is at least partially dismissed by the fact that most of those places feature a curtain to separate the little cubicles people are eating/drinking in. Well and the Japanese propensity for minding their own business. The first part... well, I'm guessing that in a country where a minor being in possession of alcohol isn't a big deal(To the point where alcohol is sold in sidewalk vending machines) that they wouldn't much care if they're also present in all but the 'dedicated' drinking establishments. The place he's in apparently has a fairly extensive menu and as such couples showing up with children are probably not that odd. There are similar places like that here in Canada anyway. But I'm just guessing there and have absolutely no idea. |
