As it stands you have to wait for the character to be approved, then submit the VA for it, which then also has to be approved. Seems an unnecessary delay and somewhat redundant process doubling the load of the db mods. |
| Yeah, like a search function in the page so you can search and add the voice actor to the character before you submit it. |
| THIS! This will actually make the submission process quicker and smoother. I have to add characters first before I could add voice actors. We have to wait until the character we submitted is approved before we could even add its VA and then we'll have to wait again because they'll have to check. I've been checking the anime pages with a bunch of character submissions I sent, some of the characters have been approved but the approval for the VAs are taking too long, longer than the approval time for episode info. And since the comments section on 'People' pages have been deleted/closed, there's no specific place I could comment regarding a pending VA's role. I know there's the Character & People DB - Recent Merges/Removals thread but it's not really for pending submissions. Yeah, I can always make a new thread in the Character & People DB board but I don't wanna make threads just for those pending submissions. I'd rather comment on a specific VA's page but we can no longer do that now. |
