Actually there are more instances, so the prince, the ruler of the universe can be used as a bargaining chip, while his/her own life needs to be protected? Come on, when the price really goes to the princess by force (and I mean power too), his/her world will be the first to fall into some sort of trouble.

Chapter 8 is nice too, telling his/her rival that the prince likes a guy. Works wonders. When the trouble starts because of that, the prince gets blamed again.

I just hope his/her "why are things happening like this" type of queries can be resolved by "I myself am responsible" instead of "??? is at fault".

The Prince is selfish beyond reason at the start and it's hard to not understand why she so easily wants to end her problems in a decisive manner where she at least has some control, regardless of other problems.

The Prince rewards a person by changing their gender and arranges a forced marriage with the world at ransom. Then threatens her by proclaiming his absolute authority. What a guy. Although he is showing more consideration, it is still at dismal levels to consider Ryouka at fault.

You are right however, normally this action would be horrible on her part, if she weren't under the current circumstances. She asks this question because the true instigator is rooted to the prince's unexpected (Even on his planet.) plan for a bride. It would be hard not to feel like saying "Why me?".

No Ryouma is anything but selfish as Neutraleyes stated the prince is beyond selfish to change Ryouma gender and force him to marry him with the world at ransom after Ryouma saved him. The Prince wasn't thinking about anything but making himself happy just because he fell in love with Ryouma. Ryouma has to go through so much shit because of the this gender change and he's not a natural woman.
