| @bbmello Uh oh. Not mochi mania! That show was adorable, but also deplorable. I hope the Love Story movie will turn it all around. ----- I can't believe I missed Yuyushiki from Spring 2013. This thing easily destroys Titan, Gargantia, Chihayafuru 2, Railgun S, Kotonoha no Niwa, and anything else that aired throughout that season... Shots fired, but whatever haha. Glad to have caught it on my radar. Himitsu: The Revelation is also mega-underrated as a signature Madhouse thriller, while I'm still in disbelief with Kemono no Souja Erin being aimed at children. The themes and concepts explored are just so profound that anyone, regardless of age, will find something to relate to. |

| @Meatboi I guess I have a liking to certain bipolar characters like her and also Chitoge from Nisekoi. I hate that Kotori (my old favorite) pretty much disappeared in the second season, leaving Honoka as the one character I'll remember the series by. I do recall Honoka's behavior being kind of suspect in the first season though. Been watching some older anime as of late (2000 and before). Anime has come a long way since then, although not always for the better. Where these anime lack in visual appeal and capability they make up for with substance in the story and premise. |
