Well I've watched Kore wa Zombie Desuka? , Haruhi Suzumiya no Yuutsu , Lucky Star and Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro Chan - they count right ? : D Don't know why the ED of Dokuro Chan is so serious though

my second favorite type of shows :D

Excel Saga - there is a lot with parodies of particular genres (and they are quite good but still I dislike the show)
Abenobashi Mahō Shōtengai - a bit similar to above one
Tantei Opera Milky Holmes (s1 + s2) - great fun from detective stories and criminals
Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei - there is a lot and I would even say to mich of it (it gets boring)
Doki Doki School Hours - has around 7 episodes like it and some pieces here and there, overall good series with unfair stigma of Azumanga rip-off (if something it was the other way)

i like it too & i think it can be called a parody --- i'm surprised more people don't - i don't think it's the best thing ever, but it's def not as bad as i have seen some say it is ^^

Haters gonna hate.Non-stop whining about how NOT good it is, and as always how it's NOT funny.

I'm belong to the group that is also not that impress with that anime but I'm not saying it's crap though, it's good but it's the typical hit and miss series - some moments are bad while some are good. And it doesn't really follow any particular line of story. The difference it has with other slapstick series is the pacing seems to be slow unlike recent comedy series like Nichijou or the current ongoing, Danshi Kokousei Nichijou. Maybe people aren't just use to slow types since they want their serving of laughs in done in hype with characters packed up with adrenaline. As for me, slow or fast, doesn't really matter as long as it is very original.

About the topic which is Parody, well, there are lots of them that made me crack up, however, the anime with that created the biggest impression was either Gintama or Zetsubou Sensei. Being a SHAFT fan, I would be rather inclined to Zetsubou Sensei, given that the series is very intellectual and insightful. But Gintama had done its part also, for having 200+ episode yet still having making me laugh all this time.

I can't choose since even both are comic relief series, the style greatly differs and the only thing that was relevant between the two is the use of Manzai.

If someone says SHAFT I instantly think of Arakawa under the Bridge. Good times, good times.

For me, Kill Me Baby couldn't have been made any better. It does exactly what it is supposed to do, and of course there isn't a real storyline in there: the creators never intended there to be one.
And I have to laugh at most of the jokes. More a matter of taste I suppose.

I started excel saga not too long ago, and I like it ok. It does have a lot of parodies in it.
Hare + Guu is another one, though the jokes are usually more subtle.
