Do you think the Anime should have followed the manga more closely?
| Don't get me wrong I love the anime both seasons, but I feel like it could have been better if it followed the original plot. I know there isn't enough of the manga to make two full seasons but if they just followed it more closely and went off on something more believable. For one thing Queen Victoria was arguably one of the best Queens the UK ever had, she took over the world for one thing and I doubt that she would go crazy and hire an angel... just way too out of character for me. I think they should have just focused on the cult and solving underworld crimes. And for the second season they should have kept the two competing butler/master teams Alois could have even kept his seeking for love thing but not so obsessed with it, or he could not know what he wants than when he realized that's all he ever wanted he wants to get rid of Ciel because he believes Ciel has it or something... In the end I liked how they solved underworld crimes, went undercover (like in the manga with the circus) and discovered more about the past, I'd like to find out more about Ciel's father he has a much bigger role in the manga and I think that makes sense. If they kept this plot we could have seen more of the Ciel/Sebas-chan team instead of Ciel ordering Sebas-chan to suck out his soul till there's nothing left. I mean do you really want it to end with only 2 seasons? |

| I think it was actually a clever move to make the anime different. That way it almost forces fans to both read the manga and watch the anime. While I agree that the anime plot is a little crazy, it's still interesting in its own way. I would have liked to have seen more of the manga plot animated before they diverted, and I agree that they'll have a difficult time writing anything after season two. It would be nice if they could do a reboot of the series that sticks closer to the manga now that it's gotten a bit ahead, like FMA: Brotherhood...but I don't think it's popular enough :( |

| inb4 FMA:Brotherhood for Kuroshitiji.. It's a perfect way to set it up..Do what they did right now and work on the remake behind the seasons now and have it ready for summer. |

| They should have followed it all the way in the first place. They screwed up the second half of the first season and the whole of the second season. Very sad for a manga with a great idea. |
