| I've only ever read like a few mangas throughout my life. So I'm asking what are mangas that are just ~must read~? Also, I'm not really up for reading mangas that are continuing and supppppppppppppppper long (like, would take days to finish or something?) unless it's amazing lol. Thanks in advanced lol :) |

| Just take a look at the top manga page. Unlike the top anime, most of the manga on the list deserves to be there and are all genuinely worth reading. My personal recommendations to you would be Genshiken, Solanin, Hotel and 20th Century Boys. |

| Yokohama Kaidashii Kikkou This manga is regarded by many as the epitome of slice of life genre. It's very lighthearted and doesn't contain any serious plot developments, or drama, but gives you a very emotional and peaceful feeling while reading it. You might also like Harukana Machi-E and Solanin if you like this. Blame! This is my pick for the best action manga. Blame is incredibly well drawn (down to the very last pixel), and has a very surreal feel to it that draws you right into it's well detailed post-apocoliptic environment. The battles in this manga is also top-notch and you'll find yourself staring into the artwork in amazement half the time. You might also wanna check out Berserk if this appeals to you. Ichi the killer A phsycopathic killer who faps and gruesomely kills people. This has very realistic and well detailed artwork. Check out Homunculus and Shamo too. I wanna add more but meh.. |
