Very cute - I started the entire Spirt of Wonder property with this OVA episode. even if it's not the right time-line, it was a good place to start. China-san is drawn very well.

I haven't watched this one yet, and I know this isn't really about the anime. But god damn it let me blow off some steam. If I see another review or comment that starts with "the animation is good for it's time" I'm going to reach through the internet and punch the person that wrote it in the face. What the hell is that even supposed to mean? Just shut up, all you are doing is spreading the stereotype that modern anime fans can't appreciate old anime and making yourselves sound dumb.

Surprised with how less people have stumbled into this 90s gem. Other than the charming artstyle and nice laid-back atmosphere it was going for, the plot was indeed wasn't anything special if we look at it as a whole but it did kept me guessing for the majority part of the movie.

Were you guys serious when saying China was cute? She was one ugly mofo imo. One of the ugliest anime girls I've seen. Nice art but the faces on everyone in this looked really bizarre. She's also a psychopath for blowing up the moon. RIP tides and ecosystem.
