| I must say that the premise of this show is one of the most creatively ridiculous out there. A zombie apocalypse where everybody becomes cats, and because they are so cute that nobody could bring themselves to put a stop to this nyandemic. So with the way things begin, one of the main characters is turned into a cat, then the leads have their backgrounds explained as Kunagi runs a cat cafe where he has extensive experience dealing with cats, while Kaoru has been around cats working as a clerk at her brother's cat cafe, and her best friend Tsutsumi works at a supermarket that sells pet stuff. Kunagi and company are on the run and they find temporary shelter in the place Tsutsumi works at. But the cats break through, and for now they are barricaded inside a storage room hoping the zombified cats don't get in. While it's supposed to be a horror and suspense, it's actually the comedy that stands out. Anyway, I give this show credit for the cute and terrifying idea to have those two things together, but it's just silly when it is meant to be serious, which is not a good thing. |
| I'm glad that this world is achieving its dream of ultimate cat cuteness. The remaining humans need to realize that their lives are full of strife, and things would be so much easier for them if they simply gave in and became cats. They all love cats so much, it's just inevitable. And it's hard to relate to a society that universally adores cats so much. I see that the show isn't drawing much attention. It had some moments that I liked, so I'll be kind and give it 6/10. |
