They finally gave a reason on this being the 3rd series

So to me, the hypest thing in the newest episode (14) was the introduction of

, as it finally gives a reason for how it's the 3rd To Be Hero series and an introduction to Unc or Futaba coming from the previous series. It's how Unc ended up meeting Futaba previously iirc , so it wouldn't seem like an ass pull either. I know most are thinking it is a new theory for X, which is also a very strong theory too, but this is a way for those two previous protags to possibly show up was what was likely intended 🙂

Edit: For those asking, AFAIK you do not have to watch the previous 2 at all, they just were said to make possible cameos and this confirms it is all. It's kinda how much you want to dig into things is, like the immense amount of background PVs that the average user wouldn't watch unless they wanted to dig deeper🙂

@Shilohzz from what I heard, absolutely not. They are a completely different vibe, more of a gag comedy with some action. Plus the animation (which is arguably the biggest draw for TBHX) is no where close to this level or even as creative. I'd only watch the two if I was a die hard super fan (even more than a person who has seen all the PVs for TBHX) with too much time on my hands😅, since they were said to only make a cameo at most and not be part of the main story🙂

You absolutely don't have to watch the first two and they are something else entirely. Imo they're very good if you like comedy (imo very funny, especially the first one) and also they are short, again especially the first one - they're 8min episodes

The Studio has said the other series was NOT related yo TBHX at all. And TBHX was a standalone series. IF it was connected you would've seen it on TBHX's MAL page

Vortex dying in the same plane crash Lucky Cyan was in is shocking. It all went downhill for him after Big Johnny beat him when he was X. I guess the trust and fear nullification applies to more than the alien's ship!

It was nice to see the past events from Little Johnny's perspective. He really did look up to Ghostblade. But tragically his admiration was misplaced.

Zac's the only bigwig who isn't playing dirty so far. Because that was diabolical of Mickey to send Queen to "vacation" while throwing Liu a mischievous smile. He sure picked a heck of a partner.

Also was that old E-Soul being preserved in a tank by Shand? I thought he got disintegrated, but it'd be pretty hype to see him rejoin the fray!

I actually recommend the first two series regardless, they are really good and have good animation too, obviously they are quite different from TBHX, They don't have the depth of X because they are mainly comedy series but they are really good

@Shilohzz absolutely yes. To be heroine is better then to be hero (s1 which was primarily gag comedy).

Also the Chinese versions are way better then the Japanese versions.
