I honestly didn’t like this episode all that much tbh. I get what they’re trying to do with Subaru and how he shouldn’t run away from his problems, but I feel like the conflict for this was executed terribly. Like he literally just got at the school and y’all are already antagonizing him just because he’s not that much of a talker. Also Elle was wrong for taking a picture with him without his consent and the fact that Himari’s brother didn’t even stop to think to ask what happened really just makes him look dumb. The whole soccer conflict was really stupid too. And to top it off, they tease us with the Subaru performance and then they don’t go through with it. They could’ve just showed us Bond x link and I wouldn’t have been that upset even though I think it’s repetitive. Anyways, this was my least favorite episode of season 2 which is a shame since this was Subaru’s debut episode.
