Heartstopper is a webtoon by Alice Oseman and
the plot follows Charlie, an openly, cheerful gay boy
and Nick, a soft-hearted jock who meets at an
all boys British school. Soon, a friendship blossoms
between the two and Charlie finds himself falling
in love with Nick but little does he realize that his
feelings may also be reciprocated.

Heartstopper is a coming of age, young adult story
which touches on topics such as LGBTQ+, bullying
and other sensitive topics dealing with mental health.
Aside from a graphic novel, there is also a Netflix
adaptation of the series.
