| Does the manga have significant differences from the anime? I’m interested in reading it, so I’d like to know if it’s worth reading after having seen the third season of the anime. |
| As with any manga, Of course there are parts or scenes omitted but the general storyline is still the same. |

| The anime is (mostly) consistent with the manga for the first two seasons, but it is in season three that things begin to really differ. Right after Legoshi drops out of school, there are many details, characters, and scenes that the third season has already omitted or altered. There will definitely be more when the second part drops. Not to mention, the third season is adding new stuff to the story in place of cut stuff (mostly in an attempt to fix pacing or writing issues in the manga). So, I recommend reading it and the spinoff, Beast Complex, which expands the world through new and returning characters. Whether you want to wait until after Season 3 is over is up to you. |
