but it is under the infinity castle arc and is only the final fight. From what I read on the Internet, this trilogy is supposed to adapt the entire Demon Slayer story. I'm just asking out of curiosity :P

Obviously I’m not genuinely involved in this but no it will be separate. If they were to squeeze all of that in 3 movies than the entirety of the third movie would take place out of the Infinity Castle. So a movie with zero seconds in the infinity castle being titled infinity castle would be quite weird and even way bigger than that it would completely contradict everything we’ve seen so far. Demon slayer is slower paced than most shonen today, obviously not one piece lol but pretty much everything else. Most shows today average 3-4 chapters per episode. Demon slayer has consistently averaged 2-3 but been closer to 2. Even with long first and last episodes. The pacing would be quite different to fit all of it. And the demon slayer anime adapts the manga at such a high level where it consistently goes above and beyond the source material which they wouldn’t be able to if they rushed it in 3 movies. Idk if Sunrise countdown will be a 4th movie or one final short season however I’m extremely confident it will be separate from the trilogy

@gebels I'm sorry but don't believe whatever u hear on the internet cuz those are 2 completely different arcs. I've also seen ppl say it will be included on the trilogy but they don't have any source to back up their claim + it's literally listed as infinity castle. the only way it would include sunrise countdown arc is if it was named "final battle arc" which is the name given for both of those arcs put together.

Currently it’s unknown but it’s definitely possible that it will be included because sunrise countdown is basically just a direct continuation from infinity castle.

But we don’t have the information yet. We’ll probably get a better idea tomorrow with the news drop

i also thinking same thing. ppl make theories and some guys believe without knowing the real source. but i just wish for a good animation for demon slayer anime.

You can always pull an Attack on Titan title and go like "Kimetsu no Yaiba: Infinity Castle - [insert name idk Sunrise Countdown, Final Battle, whatever the fuck you want]". I wanna believe its a part of the trilogy, but I also don't think so at the same time. Whatever is the case, I don't expect the trilogy to end before like 2027 at least, and until then we don't have much of a reason to ponder over this speculation.

Keep in mind that the Sunrise Countdown Arc by itself will likely NOT be a season if its not in the trilogy and that implies another Movie, which might as well go in the trilogy. Am I wrong?

@LegendMC119 i understand where you're coming from but you'd be surprised how long the sunrise countdown arc actually is. alot of people think this arc is short when infact its twice as long as mugen train arc & 3 chapters longer than the entertainment district arc. so for it to be a movie it would have to be 4 hours minimum & that's excluding the anime only scenes they're gonna add. but I would indeed prefer for it to be a movie since I hate waiting every week just for the same fight to contiue

Oh I read Infinity Castle and Sunrise exclusively, I have no idea how long something like Mugen Train is in comparison.

@lotus_eater Its Sunrise arc actually, that's the final fight.
I don't think the Sunrise will be included here(I might be wrong but.... Infinity castle arc alone is quite long.)
Done reading the manga years ago.

It would have an awkward cut if they stop at infinity castle while they are still fighting because those two arcs are a continuous thing, and also hero academia season 7 ended in the middle of fighting shigaraki and all for one so i guess they can make it work, and also previous demon slayer season ended right after muzan threw them in the infinity castle, so it might fit for the movies to end after they are thrown out of the castle, would also say that the sunrise countdown arc has only a couple chapters but then again they made a season for just the hashira training arc,
