I'm rewatching the show now and I've been wondering why the visuals look blurry?  |

| Anna is in the foreground, but animators made her blurry in order to convey, that you are not supposed to focus on her in this shot. Pretty common trick. |

Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.  |

I wasn't really talking about this portrait type of effect. The overall visuals seems somewhat blurry to me. In that case I'm pretty sure it's because scene takes place at around sunset and animators like to make things blurry during that time for some reason. |
