| He can’t draw manga 24/7 and deliver chapters every week. I’d hate for him and his team to go through burnout and that’ll diminish the quality of the story. Best to let him take his breaks so he can deliver results that cook. |

Bc drawing 14 pages of manga a week is LITERALLY the same as working in a steel mill or coal mine 10 hours a day, 7 days a week. Really tho, idk, maybe they’re just in love with the idea of a “tortured artist?” As usual, it’s the people who haven’t done any kind of creative work themselves who don’t understand the sheer amount of effort and energy it takes—and then to take it up another level to reproduce it week after week, month after month. It’s a whole new level of fatigue on the human body. |
