| 1. Rumors about Ye family hiring a son-in-law went all over the Pill City. 2. Xiao Yan want to look for some medicinal items, guided by Xin Lan to head to Alchemist Fair, while she stay behinds to look for some materials. 3. Xiao Yan, Little Fairy Doctor, Elder Tianhuo and Elder Ye walks towards there, but was interrupted by a sudden dash from a rift, a void pegasus beast ran thru. 4. Xiao Yan tried to peek for glimpse, Elder Ye said it must be the representatives from Dan Family. 5. On board the void pegasus beast, names shown: Dan Chen (丹晨) and Dan Xuan (丹轩). 6. At the Alchemist Fair, Xiao Yan is guided by a Dou Zong security guard, and asked if he needs anything since he knew what's on trade today, Xiao Yan said he needs 3 medicinal ingredients: - Evergreen Spirit Vine (万年青灵藤) - Blood Essence Demon Fruit (血精妖果) - Snow Bone Ginseng (雪骨参) 7. However, all items are extremely rare, but the Snow Bone Ginseng is on trade, and they were led on to Yan Lao's shop. 8. Yan Lao demanded for Level 7 pill in exchange, Xiao Yan shows up his Level 7 pill for breakthrough. But in a bargain to acquire the other 2 herbs, but he doesn't have so Xiao Yan walks away and tried to pull a bargain. 9. Elder Tianhuo request to Xiao Yan to obtain the copper. In return, Xiao Yan gave extra Level 7 pill, as he is reminded of his past when his father bought the breakthrough pill for him. 10. The trade was stopped by Dan Xuan who also wanted the copper, and made his henchman to attack but only to be fended off by Xiao Yan and friends. 11. Xiao Yan also refuses to give his name to someone disrespectful, ticking off Dan Xuan, who will be checking on Xiao Yan background. 12. Back at the manor of Ye family, and abandoned home, but Xiao Yan is fine with everything. 13. Elder Tianhuo explained that the importance of the copper isn't the copper but what is attached to it, asking Xiao Yan to refine the dust: Jade Spirit Dust / Core Soul Marrow*. 14. While stayed at Ye Manor, Xiao Yan is able to experience the Soul State Spirit while observing the night sky. There, he saw the Three Thousand Burning Flame for the first time in the Star Region of Pill City, while a dragon was looming behind. 15. Xiao Yan almost shatter his soul when someone prevent him from further peeking. That someone was Xuan Kong Zi (玄空子). At the Pill Tower 1. Xuan Kong Zi said someone tries to peek into the Star Region, but luckily the Three Thousand Burning Flames was not awaken 2. Cao Ying and another person thought people from Hall of Souls tried to peek in since Xiao Yan already enter the Soul State Spirit realm. 3. They all anticipated to look forward to see Xiao Yan, who is a disciple of Yao Chen. *Core Soul Marrow was a kind of extremely unique treasure. Moreover, this thing was very attractive to alchemists because this thing could forge one's soul. This so-called forging would temper and refine one’s soul. In other words, this Core Soul Marrow could purify one’s soul. This Core Soul Marrow could not be consumed directly. It required some other natural treasures to mediate it in order to unleash its full effect |

| What an underrated episode. It felt like I was watching a pre-season 5 episode. Everything is explained slowly and clearly. Cultivation advancement doesn't instantly happen like the other episodes. |

| Jesus, I love how the direction, animation, sound design, and cinematography knows how to frame epic power differences, seeing the resting dragon and how that guy's spirit blocked Xiao Yan's spirit just radiated strength. Even how they showed those 3 "next level" practioners in the sky castle looked epic |
| The last bit with the soul spirit stuff was pretty cool and Xiao Yan found the flame he was looking for. |
