 The Monster Label 10th Anniversary special website revealed a television anime adaptation of Tobirano's Zutaboro Reijou wa Ane no Moto Konyakusha ni Dekiai sareru (Loved by Her Sister's Former Fiancée) light novel on Monday. The television anime is scheduled to premiere in 2025.Tobirano began penning the fantasy romance story on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in October 2019. Futabasha acquired the novel and published the first volume under its M Novels F label in April 2020, featuring illustrations by Mai Murasaki (Akuyaku Reijou nanode Last Boss wo Kattemimashita). The seventh volume was released on May 10. The series has a cumulative 1.6 million copies of its volumes in circulation. Chikage Nakakura began drawing a manga adaptation on the Gaugau Monster website in July 2020. The seventh volume went on sale on April 10. Synopsis A poor baron daughter has lived under her sister's shadow, where she always had nothing. Her hair is full or hairballs, she doesn't have a single dress, and all she has are tattered clothes for work. Her sister receives the attention of a high rich noble, but she dies on the way to her marriage. Marie is sent as a substitute bride for her sister because the baron cannot repay the already sold dowry to the earl. But... that's impossible? | Gonna be honest, i saw this in a webtoon somewhere and thought it was korean, maybe the webtoon was but this isn't. If this is the story i think it is, then it's mostly fluff, so if your fond of stories with little angst here you go. |
