Can I watch this instead of season 2?

Season 1 was good but I'd rather not watch a full 13 more episodes of it. Can I just save time by watching this movie instead? If no then why not? Thanks.

I binged this show ridiculously quick a while back but from what I remember the movie is like a recap of season 2 with a few extra scenes.

But I would say either watch both or just watch season 2, cause the movie is just a recap so it cuts certain stuff.

This recap movie focuses almost exclusively on the events of novel 3 and totally skips the first half of season 2, which I feel is necessary background for Liz and the Blue Bird. I wouldn’t skip the show, but the movie has some extra scenes that make it worth watching afterwards.

The movie really only recaps one storyline, and like it’s a fine recap of that one storyline but you’re really only getting like a third or so of what Season 2 did. I’d definitely say watch Season 2 and only watch the recap after if you want.

I would say just watch S2 because the first part which is missing in the movie links to Liz and the Blue Bird which is a masterpiece in my opinion
