| Miyazaki has done it again! Miyazaki's new film "Kimitachi wa Dou Ikiru ka" has won a Golden Globe, Annie Award and BAFTA, and now it also won the coveted Oscar for Best Animated Feature! The film competed in this category against Elemental, Nimona, Robot Dreams, and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.  Miyazaki and producer Toshio Suzuki were unable to accept the award in person. This is Miyazaki's second film to win the award after Spirited Away in 2003. He also received nominations for Howl's Moving Castle and The Wind Rises. With what we congratulate the legend! |

I find it pretty hilarious that the man who said Anime was a mistake has now won 2 academy awards for isekai movies. An anime genre people can't stand.
