To me, this is probably the best CGI anime ever. It almost feels like I can’t see this anime in 2D format because of well done the CGI fits the story and the IBMs. Is the CGI really the only reason this ain’t as popular? Smh

I’ve actually only read the manga so idk how the anime looked but it’s a great story for sure

The cgi to me looked some of the best and feels give so much more character to well characters which 2d animation cannot for such a story, this is too underrated

I liked it although I think the 3D animation is terrible.
Everything Polygon Pictures makes looks bad so you could say it's a studio trademark at this point.

Yes, story wise, the manga does way better. The anime couldn’t adapt s2 properly coz they were almost caught up with the manga so they wrapped it up quick unfortunately but CGI wise, this was well done

definitely agree! I normally can't stand cgi, my eyes can't get used to the weirdness, but this anime did it so well and seamlessly that I didn't realize the difference. also loved the story/ characters of course.
