| And with that, another season done... It's nice to get a "concert" per se, but then there's only so much they can squeeze in a single episode. And when there's behind-the-scenes stuff they also want to show, the performances are obviously cut rather short. But even beyond that... it's weird how much it's supposedly hyped up, and yet it ends up feeling... kinda underwhelming? For one, I know it's their thing, but BPRO's costumes look so same-ish they just blend completely together. And then there's Ultraz, who look like they dressed for a completely different party - in which they don't even get to participate in the end, because unlike the others' mocap 3D performances, theirs is basically just an even shorter slideshow, with even more cuts to the audience. Which by the way seems HUGE, with the stage similarly HUGE, which makes the performances themselves even more underwhelming in comparison. And then those two guys don't even get to perform the final song together with BPRO... nor do they get to sit in the meeting with them, the video they made is just sent for the others to watch, for some reason. It feels like they really wanted to push a new unit, but it's as if the reception to them was less than stellar, so they had to seriously tone it down as the season progressed. Which is probably the worst thing they could do - if there's a season built around bringing new guys in, then commit to it and don't change your mind halfway through, you'll be throwing away the theme of the season. And when you apparently don't even realise what RaizinFes seems like..... it's hilarious how well they can subtitle the lyrics, but then words in the anime can go so hilariously weird. |

| I just managed to finish it and ehhh it's so weird, but I actually enjoyed some of the songs?? So it wasn't THE WORST thing ever. But other than that, the plot, animation and soundtrack were basically non-existent. Like seriously, when there was no CG, they were using mostly characters's stills or reusing crowd animation, especially in this last ep. The plot for the whole series was basically about how stressful main character's job is, or hardships of being an idol... yeah boooring, no character development, no new relationships, just one episode long arcs, no thanks. And I swear, there were like 2 pieces of background music in MUSIC anime what the hell!! 4/10 |
