| Latter half of the episode was great, if only the first wasn't so boring Race was intense and well-animated, the last scenes even brought me some feels |
| Maybe it's cause I expected F1 to 4 to be less on the background, I thought this would revolve around starting in f4 then slowly climbing up as the main thing. OK was just f4, was OK but even that felt more like a filling the scene rather than the main thing. So whole at first it caught me after a while I felt it revolved around kouya and I didn't like his story progress much... I did like him at first and liked the friendship with haruka. But at times it got annoying.. I'm not sure to pinpoint why exactly I liked it less.. But I ended up less and less interested and got to a 7. I wasn't bored but it felt a bit meh at times. The final episode was predictable and tbh I would've rather seen koharu go at him. The slight supposedly romance I presume didn't feel great either cause she's simply back to being a side chick imho. Why not go for kosaki motors guy? I mean the one who's actually interested in you lol. I dunno it didn't click with me but it wasn't horrible either. Just felt more like a drama like others mentioned and I was looking for a sports car anime |

| honestly, I think people will enjoy this anime more if they care less about the racing stuff like me lol...a friend of mine who is big into racing convinced me to watch it cause im not into racing at all and really enjoyed the character focused nature of the show. but yeah if you wanted racing stuff i can understand being disappointed. overall i give this show an 8/10, surprised how much i enjoyed it |

| Another virtually perfect anime from Troyca x Ei Aoko, third time even, we need this cooperation to continuation. Really no other way for the anime to end. Probably would have changed things up thought regarding Tokumaru and Harunaga position could argue Haru only won because Harunaga was injured and Tokumaru had an accident so didn't win because of his skill but of luck Also would have liked if Sae chan and Kou chan got together or something, practically soul mates Again virtually perfect just as predicted. Will miss them. |

I really liken Aldnoah-like character design from this Troyca production. And that was perfect slice of life series for manicure, christmas presents packing... xD |

| Wow, such a pleasant surprise. An interesting look into the world of F4 racing (for someone completely clueless like me, anyway) AND photography. Great characters that stay grounded and likeable. Tough questions and emotional struggles that hit close to home. A polished production that sells both the racing sequences and the drama. A positive vibe without getting too sugary or cheesy. Even if it's not too original or eye-popping, this was a very well-made, satisfying show that felt like a proper story and a labor of love. It's so neatly wrapped up that I would not mind them ending the story here, but I would also welcome another season about the upper leagues and how the relationships develop. |
| Nice anime, really had some big high moments and just was good all the way through, enjoyed the drama and emotional moments so I'm content with the end. |

| A very nice show, really happy for Haruka winning at the end there and for Kouya becoming more comfortable with his past :) It also felt like they really stepped up their cgi game for this last ep, which was a pleasant surprise and quite commendable. |

| What are their cars made out of? Definitely not carbon-fibre. Also, I'd appreciate if the anime focus more than 45% percent of its runtime on racing instead of photography. Overall: 7,5/10. I'm a formula racing simp, so that helps the score (but also doesn't help with many nitpicks). |
| 8/10 the story is simple and predictable. i understood the Koya's drama from the beginning, so it wasn't shocking reveal to me as to some viewers. Nice characters. not deep. the movie Rush (2013) had more complex characters. But I can't say they were lovable as in Overtake! The races in Overtake are better than in Rush and Grand turismo movie imo Rush had the annoying commentator which couldn't stop screaming for a second. Gran turismo showed a CG engine and a pilot's cabin for 80% of the time of the race. Studio TROYCA did a very good job, but not something extraordinary. |

| For Thrilling conclusion to a great anime. For an Anime Original, It was very good. Looking forward to season 2 |
| That was a great race to end the show. Saeko encouraged Kouya to overcome his fears and start using his camera, and it worked. Thanks to that, we get to see multiple memorable moments for Haruka through his lens. Kouya's first ever photo of Haruka was him crying after losing, and now the latest photo is Haruka crying after winning. 7/10 |

| It was nice overall. 6/10 P.S. I also can get why some sports anime fans hate this - as the show is mote like a slice of life drama with "racing environment background" rather being about racing per se. But nevertheless, it was not bad at all. So, good job creators! |

| Kind of disappointed hoping to watch a serious car racing and thrilling race but it's to dramatic and Alice character really don't serve any purpose at all just made more drama thing only Satsuki-Satsuki all the time even until her last line she only say Satsuki-Satsuki ,just kick her out from the story and it really doesn't damage the story at all, aaah even the final race only get 10 minutes very irritating |
