So I found this surfing YouTube and I think mal would appreciate it. It's an ode to shonen anime and has some nice Sakuga.

Gumball was such a fire show I can’t believe I don’t remember that. I love all the Dragonball references outside of the kamehameha though, like the Tenkaichi tournament flashback or the way that db characters flip over in gags.

I remember this episode so clearly. The inspiration gumball took from anime was so obvious at times yet they played it so smoothly in it. Gumball has to be my favorite non anime cartoon.

If you enjoyed the time you wasted, then its not a waste of time.

So apparently studio 4°C (thundercats, fma: brotherhood, haikyuu) animated it. I knew it had to be an east asian studio. This scene looks so cool - too bad the rest of the series doesn't look like this haha. Although the humor hits though. Idk much about gumball but its online funny clips, and adult jokes make me laugh.

I remember that was a pretty good episode. TAWOG is probably one of my favorite Western animated shows along with Gravity Falls and ATLA, but those 2 have moving plots while Gumball is mostly episodic.

This was one of my favorite episodes in all of TAWOG, back then I thought it was funny seeing two adults fight but now I’m seeing so many references to anime and DB and other stuff. Gumball is definitely my favorite cartoon from my childhood and still holds up to this day.

@Ultron-Zeta yea I don't know much about gumball other than this particular scene. I'm a fan of avatar too along with Korra, adventure time, Harley Quinn, etcetera.
