Does Shiba have a chance to become the most iconic supporting character in the history of shounen genre? He's supportive, knowledgeable, looks good, can fight well and give a decent advice. All of this without outshining the main character, Chihiro. Quite a decent palette of traits that one may call alright, though nothing outstanding. However, that's the case when talking about a model supporting character.

What do you think?

He is already a lot more iconic to me than the likes of Gojo, Kakashi, etc. Definitely one of the best role models in shonen

A true man you can count on when times get tough, remember him saving that boy when the Yakuza boss exploded what a true HERO.
He helped Chihiro through a lot, he has been there for him the whole time.
He always apears in the right place but not the right time cause
Ch2.

Bruh these replies and from all of those retarded memes.. this series is really a joke rn.

secretly and slightly wants this manga to fumbles in Japan, so it can get axe. (I already heard in Japan people are genuinely confused as to why kagurabachi is popular on the west)

Yes. I would say he's more than that, he already suprassed Rukia, Zoro and Vegeta as the greatest Shonen deuteragonist

@Furyo_enjoyer I thought so as well before, but Shiba's performance in ch. 3 has made me assured that it's not just a matter of wishful thinking or mere expectations, but rather simply describing the reality in a rather unbiased way.

If anyone had still any doubts about a question asked in this thread's name, then just read the latest chapter (ch. 24). In short, Shiba not only can be called as a model supporting character. He is a model supporting character, hehe.
