I found a video about the Ousama Ranking author that's so good, I recommend watching it with tissues.

About the Author Sōsuke Tōka :

He is a Japanese manga artist who made his debut in 2017 with the web manga Ousama Ranking. The manga has been serialized online on Manga Hack and has been collected in seventeen tankōbon volumes by Enterbrain.

Tōka is a self-taught artist who started drawing manga when he was 41 years old. He has said that he was inspired to create Ousama Ranking by his own experiences as a person who had Hard of hearing since he was a child. The manga tells the story of Bojji, a deaf prince who is determined to become the strongest king in the world.

Ousama Ranking has been praised for its heartwarming story, its beautiful art, and its positive portrayal of disability. The manga has won several awards, including the Next Manga Award in 2019 and the Kodansha Manga Award in 2022.
