I don't understand the people that are complaining about this
It's just all the movies in one, definitely low cost, and you will have another experience watching it on theaters. If you don't want to pay money for it then watch the 3 movies alone at home, no one is stopping you from doing it that.

Well they complain because they treat a franchise which is very loved in a very bad way. In this case they only want to milk the franchise because in this movie even if they add some new scenes it still embarrassing especially because they have already new material to adapt from the series(from what I heard on the internet) ..... Personally I don't understand why people who are fans and love the franchise , like what Shaft did here . If they want money they can re release merchandise or release new merchandise . |

The movie is old, releasing it again will bring new people. Also if you love the series you wouldn't mind they wanting to get a little more money to maybe work on future projects, shaft is not really doing good now, and I appreciate that they are doing a thing that everyone in the world can enjoy, instead of just Japan exclusive merchandise.
And asides from that, kizumonogatari is the only monogatari arc that is not available in every countries legally (Amazon is very strict with their Animes)I had to watch kizu with a 420p quality because I couldn't find a better place to watch it. So obviously I will be happy that there will be a legal way to watch it, even if it's just for some weeks/months and support them.

Just one thing, you didn't think to download it? XD (referring to what you saw kizu in 480p)
It's very difficult to find the 3 kizu movie in Portuguese. I spent 1 month looking for a place to watch the 3 film (the other 2 I found easily)
Every Portuguese site that had kizu 3, the video player was always broken, in a lot of different ways, wich made it difficult to watch. And in sites to download it, all of them got the movie removed for copyright. I was tired of searching and I wanted to watch the other seasons so I watched it with low quality because I was in a hurry and was the best that I could find.
Nowadays it's very difficult to watch Anime in Portuguese, expecialy the old things, because crunchyroll is always taking down the good sites
| @Gui_silva23 There's a certain site named after a cat's sound in Japanese and which domain is ".si" where you can find the Monogatari series with Portuguese subs in excellent quality. Just search for "kizumonogatari br" within that site. |
| As a fan of The Monogatari Series, this is actually a very disappointing rip off. Why condensed the three movies that already exist into one movie with maybe some new scenes. As a big fan of the Kizumonogatari novel, the adaptation was honestly disappointing as well in comparison to the original. A lot was cut, and the dark drama that the novel had was never really present in the movies. In the novel, there are a lot of moments that are scary or depressing, from either Kisshot and the villains from Koyomi's point of view. I wish this was an announcement for a sequel continuing the latest novels that we've been waiting for years since Shaft claimed they're working on. Damn fucking shame. Very frustrating. |
| great example that fans would complain about anything. 'Oh no they are milking my beloved franchise'. 'They should adapt new content instead of these recaps'. Guys chill out. Studio needs money. Bluray sales don't work well in most countries since no one owns a Bluray player now. Re-release is the safest option to earn quick money. And Kizumonogatari wasn't released in many regions anyway. So it's nice to see a big screen release. I'd love to watch Madoka on big screen if they re-release movies in my region. The studio doesn't owe you anything if you don't want to spend money. |

| yeah i dont understand the complaining tbh, i would also like to see the new novels being adapted but i dont see anyhting wrong with the studio trying to get money, at least there might be a possibility for the new fans of the series to watch the release in a cinema. Demon slayer has started to do this as well, showing a film of the last eps and the first ep of the new season. Bocchi the rock as popular as that title was, they are going to release a compilation film. I would be mad if the kizu compilation film gets profit and shaft doesnt even show glimpses of trying to animate the new books, then i would be mad. |
