I seen a reel of this anime (sad one)
Is this worth a time .I mean some anime reels are great but the actual anime is trash so would you tell me about the whole anime without any spoilers

I for one genuinely enjoyed several things about it, particularly some of the big emotional moments in the episodes before the ending, I believe it was eps 9 and 10. Another thing I really really like was the concept of the show and the way the secrets of the system keep getting unveiled. There was a mystery regarding a certain reappearing character but personally I felt that that mystery paled in the face of the mystery of the way the system works. This might sound really cryptic not having watched the series but this is the best I can do without spoilers.

I’m someone who enjoys a really interesting/ unique/ original concept sometimes even more than the execution of it, which is why I think I really liked this series. In all honesty, some of the cases they deal with are a bit ridiculous, but the series moves fast enough that I didn’t dwell on the shortcomings that much. First episode will give you a decent idea about what you’re in for. I say give it 3 episodes and you’ll decide for yourself. It is quite an intense sci-fi detective flick with the concept kinda carrying the series but there are moments that feel a tiny bit more fantastical than sci-fi. The way the series explores dreams and the border between imagination and real life particularly in the second half is also something I really enjoyed.

(I’m just dumping random thoughts at this point sorry lol)
tl;dr - it’s worth giving it a try, I think you’ll figure out within a few episodes if it’s for you or not; has high points (eps 9/10 especially) and a few low points but it’s a series carried by a fascinating concept. Also MC is really likable imo
for reference I gave it a 8/10 but that’s obviously subjective, you can check my other ratings to see if you trust my taste lol
I put this show in the same category with the likes of psycho-pass or death parade

idk, it felt like boogiepop when they decided to fuck with pacing just for the sake of fucking with the pacing. the start is kinda interesting but as you get to the end it feels more and more . . . empty. and they half-assed everything, the plot is ok at best, the characters are all over the place, and there's no sense in the order of events.
all in all, i didn't like it but maybe you will.

For me it is heavily underrated. It is not perfect but I was really impressed despite sci-fi being my least favorite genre. The characters are fine but the whole premise of the story makes it a really good binge watch. Even though it looks a bit episodical, things start to make sense towards the end and also the MC is a bit different than what everyone is used to.

Has some good sci-fi elements and some episodes are pretty good. However, overall I’d say the show is a 6-7 ish. I watched it a couple years ago and I only remember certain moments. I’d say skip if you aren’t too big on futuristic anime.

I'd recommend it. It's definitely a breath of fresh air to finally get an adult cast and a serious sci fi setting. If you're itching for more mystery thriller sci fi anime especially with similar vibes to Psycho Pass then I'd recommend it.

However I do wish it was longer. Like 20 eps at least. The concept is really intriguing and I wouldn't mind watching a semi episodic show about them deducing criminal motives and solving various crimes.

Definitely worth a watch! it's rated pretty high on my list, but I very much enjoy mysteries. It's like Inception but instead he goes in the mind of criminals to solve cases. I loved it!

I have watched it and I quite like it. Quite similar to psycho pass, which is using data to catch criminal.

And the songs are good, especially ed.

Absolutely, it’s a huge hidden gem. It’s a psychological thriller, similar to Inception but a little more brutal in some ways. A very creative premise with great characters.

I think this was a very great idea of plot and world building for a very conservative budge.

Still, the animators made a very solid anime in production terms.

Although I didn't think this was a 9/10 anime like I rated it, I believe it deserves recognition by actually showing a refreshing thriller. It has a lot of inspiration from many other scifi medias, but it managed to tell a very unique and original story.

I respect a lot all those involved in this anime. It's pretty obvious they cared a lot. It has simple animation, but functional and smooth. It's a shame it had to be too succinct due to probably being an original anime from a small studio, but it had the potential to be a true masterpiece.

TL;DR: absolutely worth watching, pretty good and refreshing story, no BS, adult cast actually acting like adults. Weak art value, but never faulty.

I really liked it. If you like mysteries, puzzles, and action, watch it. It’s worth it. The show doesn’t have many episodes, so it’s not a big investment anyways. I’m trying to think of something to compare it to, but can’t think of anything. It’s pretty unique.
If you don’t like violence whatsoever, don’t watch it because it’s about catching serial killers. It’s not very bloody or heavy on gore though.

absolutely! it has its great strengths and its weaknesses (the animation…) but imo it’s very worth the chance. i highly recommend it if you’re into complex, meta sci-if stories that bring up the question of morals in the forensics field. it’s incredibly unique and never done before!

Its not a perfect show, but the things that it does well, it does really, REALLY well.

i would say go into expecting mixed-quality visuals, and a meh main villain.

and i promise that everything else will deliver.
