I watched Ahiru no Sora 4 months ago and it easily became one of my favorite sports anime. Hope it comes back one day.

I. TOTALLY. AGREE. I watched it like 6 months or a year ago and I'm obsessed!!! I don't understand why it's so underwatched and it's driving me insane because it deserves so much more hype.

i read an article where the author was really angry at the animation and I assume he wanted more budget in the animation. This was a big issue for fans too as most of the scenes playing basketball where just still scenes, barely animated. Til the dispute gets resolved then i don’t think we will see anything.

Very unlikely. Didn’t sell very well, poor reception, long production with many chapters to adapt, and the creator hated the anime.
I really loved this show and was so obsessed I even opted to try and read the manga, however, the manga is too “busy” for my liking. The art is sketchy and the words and paneling are all over the place. I couldn’t stomach it. So yeah. Very unfortunate that we won’t see them win their first game in anime format, but that’s what happens in this business

same!! I'm not one for long anime but for some reason this one just kept me coming back and id love another season
