I'm planning to start this series, so I check it's reviews on YT, they are saying that Tokyo Ghoul:re and it's S2 is not worthy to watch.

Give me your opinion whether it's worth to watch Tokyo Ghoul and it's rootA only or I should watch re too.

watch s2 people tell that its totally filler but its not. only some scenes from manga are deleted and the ending is little different from manga but √A is worth watching.

I watched it yesterday, not worth of time, only hyped anime. No story, no plot, zero goal or aim of the anime. At the end of watching it you won't find any conclusive plot. Talking about the very first season. And the seasons after this is way worse, chaotic decision and actions will ruin the little fun we could have from √A. And don't even think about Re. God

dummy It's on epf the best anime

dont watch root A, it doesn't follow the manga and is honestly trash compared to the manga.

I know I may sound crazy but I don't think Root A is as bad as many people claim it to be. I thought the climax was actually really good and the ending was pretty heartfelt. Even my cousin liked it just like how he liked the first season. The other follow ups on the other hand are what everyone agrees suck ass. Because of that I have avoided them like the plague. I think The Promised Neverland Season 2 is much worse than Root A. My cousin also agreed with me. He also agrees how awful Tokyo Ghoul's sequels after Root A are.

The last two episodes of season 1 and the first 10 minutes of season 2 are probably the best anime episodes I have ever seen in my life. They were practically life changing for me.

After that the rest of the show is quite medicore admittedly. No need to watch season 3 and 4 honestly unless you don't ever plan on reading a manga and want a more conclusive end. I am reading the manga and have heard it retains the quality of season 1.

Some people say that it was a rush, a mess, etc. I personally didn’t care and enjoyed it from beginning to end and is definitely one of my favourites, I think it’s worth the watch (especially if you don’t read manga)

The soundtrack makes it worthy to me (I haven't fully read the manga) and the direction and visual animation is amazing as well (re: production value is a huge downgrade from scenes I've seen).

Just read the manga, its a fucking masterpiece, while the anime feel so rush and with a lot of plot hole that doesn't make any sense, the first season it's alright but then the story takes a whole different path with no real development and became garbage especially in the Re adaptation.

The first season is really good overall, nothing earth shattering but still good, I will say that none of the seasons after follow its source material at all, they skip around and cut big moments so I’d only watch the first season and then rely on the manga after that

Bro asking on here was a bad choice with the elitists on this site and the people who hate cause it's trendy. Everyone saying "there's no story" and "it doesn't make sense" have 3 brain cells cause this show is not hard to understand or follow. The show oversimplified the manga, but you still understand what's going on if you don't have the brain of a fish. The manga is MUCH better, but if you wanna watch the show, watch it. It's one of my favorite manga/anime worlds ever built.

First season is amazing, root A's peaks are the best in the show but overall is rushed. last episode is incredible to me.

Re: season 1 is not good in terms of a follow up to the first 2 seasons, but once things start coming together it gets better.

Re: season 2 is so rushed it's painful but is very entertaining in my opinion, and if you care about the characters and their goals up to this point, it's a must-watch and has some great moments.
