| I try to keep the Myanimelist pages updated when I upload hard to find retro anime. Bousou Sengokushi, at the time of this post, is my latest entry to date. Interestingly, it is inspired from real events. Besides, it is probably the only good anime Apples ever produced. It is still hypothetical, but I might make it a solo project to cover in the future. It's so obscure it has gone under everybody's radar, as it is the case with everything animation produced by Studio Apples. Being such a minor studio, their anime are all very rare, particularly their Xmas entry "the 7 Santa Claus". It's to this day still among my most wanted list. I have a bad ear, so I use the assistance of an AI to transcribe dialogues in written form. That's how I do my translation work. For words I don't know, I refer to a kanji dictionary and go by the most likely definition, according to the conversational context. I am doing fine, as long as I don't tackle projects with more technical talk points. |
