Wandering Witch: The Journey of Elaina (light novel)
| The anime didn’t adapt everything it left 34 chapters from vol1.2.3.5 that was not adapted in the anime so it’s better to read it from the start The anime adapted these chapters Vol 1 Ch 1.2.6.9.12.13.14 Vol 2 Ch 8.10 Vol 3 Ch 2.4.11.12.13.14 Vol 4 is not adapted hopefully in season 2 Vol 5 Ch 4.9 As you can see a lot was skipped it’s better to start from the beginning you’ll enjoy it more I really hope we see Elaina again in the future |

The fact that the Anime Elaina and LN Elaina are completely different characters is the main reason why you should read from the beginning (they nerfed Elaina in everything). Not to mention the anime doesn't explain even 10% of what Majo no Tabitabi world is, but has a lot of Out of Character moments and even misleading stuff instead.  WTF is this... Episode 12 is the worst thing in terms of adaptation, while episode 11 is the worst thing in terms of portraying Elaina character as a whole. Also LN is much darker and more interesting than the Anime where the emphasis was on Saya and all sorts of fluffy stuff/boring stories. |
