| Lucien puts Annette on the sleigh and pulls it with all his might, managing to deliver his dear friend safely home. Lucien is given Pierre's sweater to wear to keep warm whilst Granny Claude treats Annette's sprained ankle. At length Annette is able to make up with Lucien, but is still wondering what Monsieur Nicholas and the other kids will think. Having worked up the courage to tell the truth, Annette decides to visit her teacher early the next morning. |
