| Hajime Isayama's🤷♀️ Sorry, I had to. That's for sure. In the case of the studio, why not both? WIT's AoT will be always more nostalgic for me since I "grew up" on it, but I think it's great that thanks to MAPPA, we are able to see it fully animated. Plus the new animation style came into the picture when the plot itself took a 360° turn, so I think this change kinda matches the story. I adore both studios work the same way though. |

| If the ending flops, definitely MAPPA and Isayama. They'll get shit as long as people remember what Attack on Titan is. Jokes aside, I would say both. Wit put so much into the first 3 seasons and if it wasn't for their superb animation, I don't think the show would be where it is today. This isn't to say that Attack on Titan rides on animation only, but animation contributed greatly to the popularity of the show. I think MAPPA will always be remembered for changing the animation style a lot and butchering a lot of the 4th season, which in my opinion is probably the height of Attack on Titan. Both, but maybe leaning slightly more toward Wit?! |
