| It's getting pretty interesting. I came with low expectations from the first season because it would be one more donghua about powers, but as I have progressed it has been becoming a much better structured and complex plot, which is quite good for the series. It's also the first donghua isekai I've seen, and I didn't expect there to be a character like Dai Xiao, someone who takes the protagonist's world into notice and wants to create a new world based on it. This means that Wang Sheng's world carries quite a bit of weight in the narrative, and that is making Yuan Long has a much richer and more interesting lore. |
