I don't want to turn this into anything confusing because I don't think it is, but I just needed a bit of clarification on the ending.

So from my understanding obviously everything was just part of a system created by the computer carrying on Eva's wishes to be with Carlos forever. And this cycle repeats again and again for many astronauts who come hence the wreckage surrounding the ship.

But how were Heintz and Miguel hallucinating? Like was that the computers doing if so how did the computer know about Heintz own memories surrounding his wife and daughter.

to my knowledge the computer never really learns Heintz and Miguel's memories, they just kind of know them?

However i think they are the ones who make the hallucinations because of the white robotic stuff they leave behind when the hallucinations disappear.
