I would suggest to start reading from the beginning since the anime practically covered till the last chapter but had skipped way too many chapters in between and too many moments which i think you don't want to miss out

The last episode covers the last two chapters of the manga. The way the anime covered chapters, they skipped over a lot from first 63 chapters (main story) and skipped almost all of the chapters between 64-120.

If you can, start reading from the beginning.

you start from the very first chapter cause you have no option. they adapted manga like shit skipping important chapters to add worthless end episodes. they even skipped the best of school festival chapters which could have been cherry on the cake for anime with that kind of romance. or if you lazy to read those chapters which are adapted in anime then Google as "horimiya manga chapters which are not adapted in anime."

Sadly, it adapted the complete manga. (because I wanted a season 2 and now there will be none)
Anyways you can start reading from 1 or whichever no. You like but my suggestion 1 because there's a lot possibility that they have cutted seen because whole manga in 1 season..

The anime covers the entire manga but ofc since it's all compiled in 12 episodes you'd probably expect cut panels/chapters and rushed scenes. So I suggest starting from the beginning of the manga to get the full experience.

I'mma be completely honest here. just read the whole manga. there is a ton of content that is entirely skipped over, and the manga ends with the last episode of the anime.

The manga will give you a whole new perspective and honestly I think I enjoyed it more than the anime cause the manga is MUCH FUNNIER than the anime and the friendships are more wholesome and amusing
