Part 2 just dropped 2 months ago and part 3 is gonna drop in 1 month but there's literally no hype. Even though I don't like MHA, look at the popularity of season 6 of that show and compare it with Jojo Part 6.

At this point it doesn't even matter that Part 7 is next, because most Jojo fans have migrated to other shows. And they're sure gonna use that lame ass CGi for Part 7 because of the horses and its gonna look absolutely terrible. And after Part 7 is the divisive part 8, so there's not much hope there either.

being a batch rather than weekly was a dumb choice to killed the hype, there is no anticipation for what the next episode is gonna be, you're just basically watching an already finished anime

They can revive it, Part 7 is the favourite part for most JoJo fans, but it's only possible if they air it weekly. I hope that happens. Also, animating that is going to take loads of time.

All thanks to Netflix there was almost no marketing and ofc the batch releases which had almost a year gap killed the hype.

I haven't read part 7 manga but I know there are tons of horses in it so it will difficult to animate. But if given proper time and budget DP can pull it off.

I will watch it anyway Netflix chooses to release it. I watch a lot of new Netflix shows in the binge format and I enjoy it. Stop making it seem like the weekly format is all that. Part 6 is just crap compared to parts 4 and 5. Deal with it.

I literally didn't knew 2nd part was out thanks for the info.
tbh I thought that I didn't needed to keep tabs on the news regarding the 2nd batch , as it's so popular it will be all over the internet.

Tell me about it. I'm so envious of other companies who properly make publicity for an upcoming anime (Spy Classroom posts a character visual and PV every week) and then there's netflix. No at least a single trailer since september when they announced the last batch

True. Let the cringe "CGI bad" people migrate to CSM.

That is true. just because the anime has no hype doesn't mean it's not good.

I don't care about hype or popularity if the show is good that is all that matters, why should I care if people are talking about it or not and if people move on to other shows because the show isn't coming out when they want it to then they are just hype beasts anyway and only care about watching the next big exciting thing and don't really care about the story anyway. If the story is good I will love and praise it and since the story is based on the manga the only way the anime can ruin that is if they don't adapt the story and characters well as long as they adapt it correctly I don't care about what people think about the show because when the part is complete the speed of which they put it out will be irrelevant. In 10 years when someone watches part 6 for the first time they will not care that it was dropped slowly in batches over the course of a year, the time it takes for a show to come out only matters before it is all out. I also don't care about animation so if part 7 has CGI it will not matter to me because I only care about the story and characters not hype and animation.

Saying it’s dead is very dramatic. It’s lost a lot of hype sure but it’s not like jojo fans are going to just not watch it because it took too long. Also there’s no such thing as “moving on to other shows”, people can just watch multiple things and come back when new episodes release

Dude wtf are you guys talking about. Weekly release is absolute trash i am absolutely being tortured with chainsaw man releasing 1 episode every week it just kills the hype for me i don't feel anything when there is a new episode out it's just kinda there. On the other hand having all episodes to watch at once or watch like 3 a day is way better

I don't think Netflix killed part 6 I thought it was right to divide it into halves because it's easier for me to follow than to keep releasing it weekly

Not a single person talks about MHA season 6, it's only popular in Japan, same as JoJo.
It's still doing pretty well given that it's the least popular part with atrocious scheduling.
