I hoped Hasegawa in the final movie would get back with his wife and have a happy conclusion but nah...

I mean, he probably steal keeps in touch though. Based on the court trial arc, they have a strong bond with one another hard to break.

But yeah, Hasegawa X Suffering is the endgame. Would've honestly preferred Hasegawa X Gintoki or Hasegawa X Noose but hey it still works.

naahh it's suits him he has a good bond with his wife we know that and there's no sad ed in no way except for few things ofcourse

It's actually a blessing in disguise. If what I've heard it's actually true, Sorachi has once said that Gintama will truly end when Madao stops being a Madao. So Gintama has never really ended.
