| I think, mal adds only anime that was directed and/or screenplayed by asians. We seen stuff like bakugan battle planet on mal already (directed and written by asians anime only for western market) and recently edgerunners (polish-japanese coproduction for worldwide audience). Its becoming harder and harder to distinguish anime from anime related work, thats a fact and i believe it will become harder as it progresses as the world is getting smaller and smaller in terms of communication and work from different places on the earth. |

The point is just: East Asian animation. Btw, the countries and culture are similar in many ways. I always approved this change in MAL. |
