What anime has inspired you? I have anxiety and fear social crowds quite a lot. Change is stressful for me and just getting a job in a place I've never worked in scares me and will cause me to stop eating for days until I'm so tired from not eating that I almost pass out while at work. It's the reason I have only ever worked at 2 places in my life. These are retail businesses and don't pay well. Naturally, I want to leave them and do something that does pay well that I don't hate it. College is a way for me to do that, but college also terrifies me. I have to go to a college new student orientation where there will be crowds of people. And I have to go alone. My dad will drive me there but we will be separated for the most part. This terrifies me and I wish I could get out of it in some way, but I can't. I always have trouble sleeping right before something big because I'm scared and nervous about it all, so I would instead stay up and watch something to try to sleep. So I decided to watch this anime again to try and calm myself as much as I can. And this anime has worked. It has gone above working and has made me rather excited TO go to college and orientation and get my degree. It's one of the few times a show has ever done that for me. It made me brave. It made me happy. It made me want to try and conquer my fears. And it has given me a mindset to look towards the future without being terrified. So what anime has inspired you? Has changed you? Has pushed you towards what you want? What anime has made you better and how? |

Genuinely talking and not making fun here at all Go see a psychiatrist mate What you have isn't something new but you shouldn't neglect it Watching Anime might help you or playing games for some people but nonetheless go see a doctor The effect of watching something that gives you high spirit that you can get back at what you struggled to do before is temporary You need long term solution to your problem.. |

Wolf Children - Hana's optimism and selflessness Violet Evergarden - Redemption and Forgiving yourself Steins Gate - Endurance and Never Giving Up I find these 3 animes very inspiring. Definitely, The place further than the universe is also inspiring in it's own way. |

(sorry for bad English) this is gonna sound dumb, but PriPara for sure. Leona showed me that it's okay to like feminine things and it doesn't make you less of a man, Laala and Sophie showed me that even if some people will think you're weird there will be those who love and accept you for you, Hibiki showed me that working on your mental issues can take time and that's okay, and Gaaruru showed me that even if you're not great at something, what really matters is that you'll enjoy doing it, and people will still support you. Criminally underrated show, honestly. |

Some say it helped them to make friends, that they were able to move past something bad, etc. That show had a lot of love put into it. I think I'm gonna rewatch it soon since I haven't seen it in a while and don't remember a lot about it. |

It's awesome that you drew inspiration from that show and it's amazing how MUCH you drew from it and how it made you better. That is amazing! And, please, don't let others tell you otherwise. And your English is just fine and I understood it perfectly. |

I wanted to flip a table. I think I will give Hibike a shot and see how much I like it. And I feel K-on might be a bit more about friendships than about the musical instruments or the band itself. Just my opinion on it though. And I can see a lot of drama happening in any club but it's nice to know that anime isn't too far fetched from reality. |

(Sorry for my English) Hibike Euphonium is one of the anime that inspired me the most It made me realize that I love instruments and classical music so after I end watching the first season I told my mom that I would like to play an instrument (was 10 years old ) and she hardly accepted because I was young And now it's been 7 years and I still play oboe in my school orchestra and it's such a good decision that I made ^^ Also Yuru Camp is the second anime that inspired me a lot a made me go camp and enjoy camping ( camp only 4 times but it's an amazing experience) and when autumn is coming definitely gonna go camp That's awesome! Yuru Camp definitely inspired me to want to go camping but I haven't yet since work and all. I know a lot of people have been inspired by K-on to pick up an instrument, but never heard about Hibike inspiring others. It's great that all kinds of anime, even those that aren't ones you would think of intially, has inspired so many to do so many wonderful things with their life. Yeah K-on sure is good but don't have that serious feeling compare to Hibike where you can feel that they love their instruments and are really invest And I also love the drama that they show It was exactly like that when I join the orchestra of my Highschool K-On is less serious because it's just a club not a whole orchestra (I still like K-on a lot) (Sorry it's 1AM here so I made some mistake) I once watched the dub of K-on and heard them say "dollars" instead of yen. I'm sure you will love Hibike Euphonium It's an amazing anime with beautiful animation The character development in this show is also top tier like every season you see the evolution of the different characters And it's the right time to catch up because next season as been announced for 2024 Then I will put it on my to watch list and watch it sometime. Gotta finish Chaika season 2 and a few others that I started. Thank you for the recommendation. |

A Place Further than the Universe has helped me cope with my sister's sudden death. Shirase seems such a sympathetic character to me, and even though she mourns the loss of her mother, I see myself projected in her own grief. This show has a special place in my heart and it's one of the things that has inspired me to carry on. |
