| I really liked it, it goes into the details of making pottery and focuses on the main character's family and her mom who was a famous craftsperson who passed away. I think people rated it poorly just because it was a slow slice of life. I don't know if there is a ton of animation either, so that would be a reason that people rate it badly. maybe people also didn't like the character's? the story is much more light-hearted than a drama, so maybe people expected more and rated it lower because of that too if you're interested in art and pottery, you will like this show. On Crunchyroll they also have episodes in between that are about the main characters voice actors going to the featured town and learning and doing pottery. it's pretty cool as a travel and cultural ad too |
