It's a long series, idk how they'll do it and honestly I don't even care if they skip parts of the Canon stuff but if literally they just don't touch the writing and characters how Cowboy Bebop live action screwed up Faye then all will be good and if a character is good looking they should cast the live action character to look good as well... Faye being pretty was literally part of her character and they just ruined it. I don't see YYH having that issue thought, characters are straight forward and I'm excited to see more Yusuke and Kuwabara!😂But yeah I just don't want them to force something into the Live Action to strongly.

Never a fan of live-action movie that came from an anime.

Indeed.

Look, even if Netflix gave an iota of a damn about the quality of its adaptation (and they don't), Yu Yu Hakusho would be impossible to ever do well as a live-action series for a multitude of reasons. One of the most basic being the character designs themselves. Hiei and Kurama work as anime characters, but would look like idiotic, cringe cosplays in live action when played by any available actor. Hell, even Kuwabara would be difficult to cast.

And don't even get me started on how awful trying to replicate energy blasts in live action is...

Netflix is doing great in there anime adaptation so they have to focus more on that. If they still want to make live action they should pick the down to earth anime IP's etc Monster or Death Note, but we all know what happened to their Death Note Movie.

Could have fooled me. I've watched "Bright: Samurai Soul", one of the worst anime ever, despite working off great source material in the live-action film, and "Super Crooks", which sucked, too.

Haven't seen Arcane, but holy hell did Netflix's Castlevania adaptation suck. It hurt especially bad since Castlevania has been my favorite video game franchise for almost 30 years, since I was 6 years old and played the original on the NES. I wrote a giant review of it on a science fiction and fantasy blog back in the day.

Another Dumpster fire here, why tf netflix don,t go for something like Green blood or the did Alice in Borderland as its live action worked so well. Looks realistic and can be done as cast won't look like clowns. Well it will be cancelled so no worries there.
