Each movie has special scenes added not seen in the episodes, but you can just look up "haikyuu movie extra scenes" to watch just those parts

I watched haikyuu about half a year ago. Plan to finish the manga next month. Watched the first 2 movies, it's nice for recap. There isn't any extra content, just a recap.

as everyone else is saying, no you shouldn’t watch it. it’s a waste of time. in some parts of the movies there are special scenes that didn’t show up in the series & you can just search that up so it wouldn’t matter. of course if you want to watch it, do as you please.

If you want to watch them to refresh your memory after a long time not watching them, then yes, do it. I personally rewatch movies whenever I missed hq since I dont have time to watch the whole season (also did this before watching season 4 because it's been a long time).

If not, then you should just watch the extra scenes
