So I just finished watching the show. Easily jumped to a masterpiece after this season.
I have a question regarding lore, specifically about how Araragi came to be with what was explained by Gaen. I think I got the most of it but would like to put my thoughts to paper so to speak. Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

While I'm at it I would also love to get other people's opinions on the show as a whole and why you love it so much. For me It's the themes they tackle throughout each season.

Spoilers: I thought it was the gathering of apparitions that had gathered at the shrine that caused him to reincarnate, I just finished it but I had rewatched a couple sections of the show again like owari 3, kizu, and a couple others for a number of reasons. But essentially I’d like to rewatch it all again since it’s now my favorite series and own the light novels so I look forward to that as well as the manga. Owari 3 was giga brain and will have to watch it a few more times

Ok so both of you are correct and I over thought and came up with something fantastic. It had already been stated but,

Simply put
The first "minion/sire" gathered at Shirahebi because it was a "hotspot" and continued reviving through using apparitions as nourishment, my b. I was mostly confused on this point because of the ending to episode 9.
