Just as the title says. Also, I’m too lazy to list all of them down myself, so click on this link if you want to see what all the films are: https://letterboxd.com/dave/list/official-top-250-narrative-feature-films/

The Young Girls of Rochefort is one of my favorite movies in general, so I'll choose that, I love how colorful it is. I wish my life was a musical lol.

I enjoyed a plentiful amount of films on that list but not enough to label 'em as my favorite. So easy, Toy Story (1995).

Okay, but like why though? Have you even watched any of the other movies in the top 250 on Letterboxd?

1. Lawrence of Arabia
2. The Thing
3. High and Low
4. Persona
5. Harakiri
6. Godfather
7. In the Mood for Love
8. Fight Club
9. Parasite
10. Apocalypse Now

Including anime, easily The End of Evangelion. That's the best film ever made. It's sad that most people rate based on influence rather than merit and timelessness, otherwise a lot of great films could have made the list.

I guess it'll look like this for the top ten (in no order) :

A Man Escaped
Taxi Driver
Still Walking
The Dark Knight
Stalker
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
Yi Yi
Woman in the Dunes
Ikiru
Autumn Afternoon
-----------
honorable mention (top 25) : Sherlock Jr, Pather Panchali, M, Bicycle Thieves, Wild Strawberries, The Mirror, Inception, Perfect Blue, The Godfather, Harakiri, Path of glory, Rear Window, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Taste of Cherry, Drive My Car.

How in the hell did the person who compiled this list deliberately not put Kiarostami's Close-up in. It's meta-cinema, not pure docu.
*well, I guess it could be a point of the debate, but I think its hybrid nature still can be considered as a part of the narrative storytelling by the larger picture.

Oh dear, another very excelent film list that is very hard to choose from.

I think that out of those I see on the list my favorites are

Godfather
Come and See
Schindlers List
There Will be Blood
Cinema Paradiso
In the Mood for Love
Rear Window

Also this seems to be way better list that IMDB top 250, since there quite a few outstanding films are just seem to be missing and mainstream stuff is voted in instead

what an insanely middlebrow boring list. Criterion starter pack

Akira, not because it's anime, but because it happens to be one of the most atmospheric visceral fun movies ever made
