is this show a Battle Shonen?

I'm trying to figure out if Hitman Reborn would count as a Battle Shonen for my interest stack

my definition for battle shonen would roughly be:

"scrappy ragtag group of newbies that all have eccentric personalities team up and fight baddies and maybe each other every once in a while with the power of friendship, and also just their powers" so basically MHA, or dark MHA (Demon Slayer)

would you consider it a battle shonen? I havent seen it yet

(also if you could restack the interest stack so more people can see it, thanks)

Yeah, for sure. As one of my favs, I can say it's pretty much a full-on battle shounen. It follows the classic formula. Just another big excuse for high-octane action lol.

Yup, battle shonen epecially after the transition from a full gag show to a proper shounen at around episode 34

Yes, this is 100% battle shounen.

But, Kami no Tou isn't battle shounen, it's not even a shounen.

Korean comics can't be shounen.

Shounan isn't genre, but a demographic.

Also, Korean comics can't be shounen because they doesn't publish in any shounen magazine.

It is, every conflicts of the anime spiral around building their group and facing enemies beyond their level. The gag is just addition for the generic cliche of the story. So I don't know what it would be other than battle shounen.

starts off as a gag anime and eventually transitions into a battle shounen anime by around episode 26-34ish.... from then on its pretty much a standard shounen~
