Gosh!! I just love this anime , can't express how I enjoyed this. Still hard to believe it's been 10 years since it came out.
Animation , music score , story everything was just perfect...and I remember I even tried to be like oreki when I first watched this😂..silly me

Hyouka fans drop your thoughts too.....

Animation, story and music still hold up till today. Easily one of the best animes out there.

This is currently in my top 10 anime. Still hope for a sequel. Doesn’t have to be s2. A satisfying 60 minute movie would still be good in my opinion.

easily one of the most simplest yet most comfortable anime out there
I didn't expected much from it when I first started watching it but when I completed it. I don't know what was so special that I could easily remeber each of the scene afterwords as if I had rewatched it so many times

oh my god, same! Even i remember those scenes when i just watched it once, the story was too compelling to be true! Still after 10 years, i hope for a season 2 or smth atleast! :^)

I saw this anime about 5 months ago and I guess the animation was good, the characters were also well written but the story somewhat moved slowly.

What I love about this anime most is its subtlety. The story, the characters, the plot development and those mysteries may be somewhat underwhelming to many viewers, but to me it conveys a wealth of feelings and emotions in a deep and subtle way - from love, hatred and anger to envy, expectation and disappointment. The music and animation certainly fit in perfectly, making it a very unique anime.

I also read the novel and it’s obvious that the anime adaptation captured the essence extremely well. And I’d say this anime is one of those that even outshine the source materials.

I literally adore this anime.
When I first saw it, I immediately fell in love with the aesthetic, the character design and just the whole anime itself.
Houtarou Oreki is probably what makes me love this anime so much. He is by far the most relatable anime character I've seen and I adore him.
He isn't the only one who makes this anime as enjoyable but certainly he touched my heart.
The way the mysteries were solved and the small but noticeable changes in his personality were really precious and I love that.
I can't wait for whatever they decide to do.

I thought that if Honobu sense wrote a couple more volumes, it could get another season later but I guess not after what happened to KyoAni.

If anyone wants to know what happened after the show, read volumes 5 and 6. They're both so wonderful and would recommend it to every Hyouka fan.

Easily one of the best kyoani shows! My only grip was how not all characters are as developed as Oreki and Satoshi . Sadly, the chances of getting a second season are the same as NGNL

Yeah man I can't believe people called it average and dropped it . The show is not meant for everyone i guess . There are 100's of details I can talk about as to why this show is a masterpiece but people who can't relate to it won't appreciate those details. I haven't read the source material but this is the signle best adaptation by Kyoani till date followed by Koe no Katachi imo
